Excerpts from my Journal [Part 3]

We are fascinated with diaries. There is something so intriguing about the inner workings of other people’s minds; inscriptions that are meant for their eyes alone so it must be raw and real. Maybe if we get to see their deepest thoughts, it will help us understand our own. Journaling has always been a struggle for me. I loved the release from getting my thoughts down on paper, but as I continued to write day after day, I disliked the feeling of looking over my previous entries—sometimes I felt uneasy, especially if they were negative ones. The time would come where I would start journaling again, and then subsequently I would throw it away or delete it (if on the computer) because I did not want to relive my experiences…
